Why a one-day retreat? What are the benefits? What can I expect? When we dedicate an extended time to practice, we can explore certain teachings in more detail and immerse and deepen our practice during our daily lives. The benefits depend on how you will implement the teachings during your daily responsibilities. We will look at different meditations that can be useful in your busy days. We will focus on "Listen & Explore." Here are a few practices we will be exploring: - Sitting meditations - Walking meditations - Laying down meditations - Mindful eating - Talks around senses and how we engage with each other Lunch will be from Jean Jacques in Pleasantville (http://www.jean-jacques.com/).
