Slowness. Reflections. Great people. Allowing nature to guide us. Why a one-day retreat? What are the benefits? What can I expect? When we dedicate extended time to practice, we can explore specific teachings in greater depth and immerse ourselves in our practice throughout our daily lives. The benefits depend on how you will implement the teachings during your daily responsibilities. We will explore various meditations that can be beneficial during your busy days. The theme will be shared closer to the date. Here are a few practices we will be exploring: - Sitting meditations - Walking meditations - Mindful eating - Talks around senses and how we engage with each other Lunch will be from Jean Jacques in Pleasantville (http://www.jean-jacques.com/).
