Day 10: Sit and Look at Nature

Practice

Sit, breathe, and look at nature. It is similar to day seven and today we're adding the focus of the breath. Find another place than on day seven and give yourself 5 minutes, or as long as you have time. With stillness being the theme, focus and grounding is more the focal point.

 

Do you notice a difference between observing nature and being in nature while focusing on your breath? The main difference between the two practices is that one is raising our awareness of what is happening around us, the observation of nature and the effect on our bodies, and the latter one is bringing the awareness into our bodies first and utilizing the environment of nature as relaxation effect.

The take aways from both practices is how beneficial nature is in how much energy and relaxation nature can provide us with.
